The rubber cement is safe to use on floral plants because only large portions need to be removed after the event, and the rest will safely decompose. RUBBER CEMENT:
Rubber cement can be sprayed in closed environments, but never over an open flame, because it is highly combustible in an aerosol state.
The rubber cement will become safe and non-flammable after 8-10 minutes and will remain that way.
Candles can be burned, and cobwebs will not be impacted because the weak rubber cement bond will be broken by the flame.
When it comes to the Studio's Web Fluid and Rubber Cement, customers have questions and concerns. For some web fluid manufacturers, it is because their product was thinned and has a lower flashpoint. Thinners like Webgoo or other web fluid manufacturers can also be used, but these can be expensive.
For elastomeric webbing, premix Elmer's rubber cement with Bestine Rubber Cement Thinner, Turpentine, or mix at a 1:1 ratio.
To start, all you do is pour a little bit of the rubber cement or your already prepared mixture into the cylinder. After you put the lid on and tighten it with the rubber end cap screw, attach it to your drill. You can start! The stage, theater, and film industry uses these cobweb spinners. They use Aerodynamic airflow from a fan, which blows and bends outward, and then the product inside is flung through tiny holes. It creates a stringy airborne web and flings it onto the area needed. For the best results, use the highest speed setting on your drill.
Cleaning Procedures for the Cylinder:
To clean the cylinder after use, use Goof-off, De-Solv-It, mineral spirits, or rubber cement thinner. With the lid on, let it sit for 30 seconds so the rubber cement inside the cylinder dissolves. Then, pour the excess solvent out, as in step cement clearing holes. If the remaining rubbery fluid cannot be removed, then use a rag, paper towel, or bottle brush to scrub it out. You can also leave the remaining cement in the cylinder for a few hours to dry, then you can rub it out later whenever you have time.

Troubleshooting, consider these tips:
If nothing comes out of the spinner when the drill is on:
Make sure the fan blade is spinning clockwise. Make sure the drill is not in reverse.
If nothing comes out after a few seconds of the spin being on, your rubber cement may need to be refilled, as the cylinder is likely empty.
Check the holes in your cylinder.
Wipe the cylinder holes with your fingers so they’re clear, and remove obstacles to your progress.
Once the rubber cement dries, after about three to five minutes, you may use spray paint or powder to lighten your webs. Besides the grey primer, light tan is a more elegant alternative. For displays that need to look more realistic and dusty, baby powder is best.
Airflow is even better with the new 8-inch blade, custom modified with a 40-degree pitch.
For best results with your drill, use the “high speed” setting, “2”.
